Job Description
A highly reputable group is seeking a General Manager of Logistics in Dammam.
This opportunity is only open to Saudi Arabian nationals with expertise in logistics across diverse groups.
The ideal candidate will have employment history at senior levels with Namma cargo, Move one, Pick and Pack, CEVA, K&N essential.

The General Manager will provide leadership to the company to achieve the key objectives of the company in the Saudi logistics market and build a strong brand in the industry.
He\she will be responsible for the overall performance of the company in terms of both operational & financial areas.
Job Scope
Responsible for developing & executing the business plan & the achievement of Key performance indicators in the areas of customer, financial, internal business processes, people & suppliers.
He\she will design, plan & manage all company resources to enhance value to all company stakeholders.
* Communicate, on behalf of the company, with shareholders, government entities, and the public.
* Lead the development of the company's short- and long-term strategy.
* Set, develop and execute the company's strategy, goals, annual business plans and financial budgets and make sure they are measurable and describable.
* Ensure the operational day-to-day business by overseeing all operational activities, ensuring all administrative activities are in place and in accordance with company regulations.
* Assist the set-up process of the company & operations (operational processes, policies & procedures, Standard Operating Procedures, staff recruitment, training, selection of suppliers, local regulatory requirements...etc) * Create and implement the company or organization's vision and mission. Primary Duties
* Maintain awareness of the competitive market landscape, expansion opportunities, industry and developments, etc. Responsibilities
* Research and identify growth opportunities.
* Develop Sales & Marketing efforts (including new client prospecting, develop suitable proposals for new customers) for the company to achieve revenue growth, secure new clients beyond the project anchor client & expand EWE service portfolio in Saudi.
* Ensure company performance targets are met * Develop the key client relationship through value added initiatives, innovative logistics solutions.
* Motivate, direct, develop & train the team to achieve their goals & target.
* Ensure that the company maintains high social responsibility wherever it does business.
* Assess risks to the company and ensuring they are monitored and minimized.
* Ensure compliance in environment, health, and safety, financial, systems & controls. Education
* Bachelor's degree & or similar professional qualification.
* Logistics related professional qualification such as (CILT) or (CLA) will be an added advantage
* Minimum of 6 years' experience in logistics (packing and removals, warehousing, freight forwarding, customs clearance, local transportation) industry with at least 2 years' experience in a similar capacity in Saudi Arabia / GCC.
